Our Company is committed to maintaining a safe, healthy and compliant working environment for our employees and other persons in the workplace. Format takes a proactive stance on insurance and compliance with best practice. Areas of particular focus are risk, health and safety, quality, and sustainability.
Health and Safety
Health and Safety is everyone’s business and everyone is expected to share in our commitment to avoid all accidents that may cause personal injury, property damage or loss of any kind. Every employee is expected to act safely at all times to ensure their own welfare and that of their fellow employees and others in the workplace.
We will ensure the safety of employees and others by:
- Providing and maintaining a safe working environment
- Providing facilities for Health and Safety
- Ensuring that all plant and equipment is safe
- Ensuring all employees and others are not exposed to unmanaged or uncontrolled hazards
- Providing adequate training and supervision for our employees to safely carry out their tasks
- Developing and implementing emergency and evacuation procedures
Insurance
We have comprehensive insurance cover as required by most corporate companies, including extensive Public Liability and Third Party cover.
Compliance
In support of compliance with best practice, we take initiative to join the forward thinkers and organisations who support us in pushing the envelope. At Format it is our focus to lead from the front. We do so with the support of some great people and organisations for which we are extremely appreciative and grateful.
